本作品は、私たちの悪夢を監視する「鳥」をテーマに制作した作品です。
鳥の身体を思わせる形態に、機械部品や機械的な構造を取り入れることで、生物とも機械とも判断できない、機械生命体のような存在として表現しています。私はこの存在を、一種のロボットとして捉えています。
この存在は、夢の中の「監視員」です。私たちの夢の中に現れ、悪夢を見つめ続けています。そしてもしかすると、私たち自身も夢の中で、この存在に出くわすことがあるのかもしれません。

Night Vision
This work was created around the theme of a “bird” that watches over our nightmares.
By incorporating mechanical parts and mechanical structures into a form reminiscent of a bird’s body, I have created a mysterious machine-like lifeform that is difficult to define as either biological or mechanical. I regard this being as a kind of robot.
This being is a “watcher” that exists within our dreams. It appears in our dreams and continues to watch over our nightmares. Perhaps, at some point, we may even encounter this creature ourselves within a dream.
